Thierry Henry wore the number 14 and is considered one of the best strikers of all-time. Signed with Premier League club Arsenal for £11 million in 1999, Henry made his name as a world-class player under the mentorship of long-time coach Arsène Wenger. Henry was a prolific striker and as Arsenal’s all-time leading scorer -with 228 goals in all competitions – his club won the FA Cup twice.

In 2003 and 2004, Henry was named the runner-up for the FIFA World Player of the Year.

Henry was also named the PFA Players’ Player of the Year twice; the FWA Footballer of the Year three times; and he has been part of the UEFA Team of the Year an astonishing five times.

Henry spent his final two seasons with Arsenal as club captain, leading them to the 2006 UEFA Champions League Final. Henry also took out the league’s title at the club (twice).

It’s no wonder Thierry’s number 14 inspired our client to wear the same number when playing for Australia.

His new business, K14 aims to develop players of the future who share the dedication, determination and passion to succeed, perhaps following in Thierry’s legendary footsteps.

Red Design Group were delighted to be called on to support this elite level of sporting endeavours, developing a world-class football training brand.

Working closely with our client, our team created the brand, tagline, branding pattern, collateral and uniform all associated with the Australian green and gold international competitive colours.

Perhaps the brand journey will unite K14 and Arsenal in the future?
