Red leveraged the history of dedicated artisans and handy crafts trades that flourished in area in a bygone era, paying homage to the artisan skills of wood working, mother of pearl inlay, and painted glass which is part of the rich cultural history and mythology of the Hoan Kiem lake. The finished store presents as a unique retail space that is both functional and respectful to the building’s history.
Red Vietnam was the architect of record, responsible for the coordination of services consultants and vendors, delivering concept design, construction documentation and site design coordination. Significant works were undertaken to renovate the building exterior and reconfigure the interior.The store extends over 3 retail floors and 2,500sqm of trading area.
